My problem with Linux is that I find no real benefits from running Linux over Windows and lots of negatives. There is a tiny number of useful applications that are Linux only.

BTW you can run VMWare with 3D Acceleration but is only "experimental" in VMWare 5.5 and I don't know if it works under Linux.
