What do you think ?
I've decided to abandon Microsoft AND Apple.
I purchased a 16Gb iPod Touch today - beautiful unit, but crippled by Apple's conventions. Even copying / syncing music is unnecessarily complicated.
And my experience with Microsoft over the past few years has left me similarly jaded. They bend over backwards to facilitate their 'content-providers' needs (read DRM) at the expense of the consumer's-'needs'. AND expensive, multiple versions for the same OS? Come on! There's no need for this!
Now, I don't mind paying for stuff, but enough is enough. From now on it's Open Source / Linux for me. Fortunately I can afford to pursue philosophical agendas so to hell with everything else.
