It was the blowfish encryption. I changed to a different type and now I'm all good.
EDIT: Yep, all good here now. I do actually use a string but that's the only way i know how to make sure it get's thorougly encrypted. 32Mb file encrypted in about 15 sec. Not bad at all.
On to the next project.
