Whatever was the first program in the C64 Manual...or, at least, the first one that worked!
Ah, the joy of the sound commands on the Oric and the Atmos - the trick was, of course, to put a message on screen that said 'Press any Key'; that way you could saunter off to the other side of the shop and prepare for much (nerdy) giggling.
God only knows what the first useful program I wrote was.
