Wen Oi waz a laaad, I remember when...900/1200 bps was the speed from my BBC model B, prestel chunky text only, uphill, both ways, in the snow, in shorts, carrying wood for the fire and a bucket of water from the well ;)
I was about 10 at the time.

@justluke, it more than grains in the sea, when i was in china you couldnt access any news sites sites either (except xinqua.cn or whatever its called).
