I didn't say it promotes violence. I simply said that Manhunt 2 is overly violent and distasteful to the point where I would wonder why anyone derives pleasure from playing it.
I don't. I couldn't care less about Manhunt 2, because it's a poor videogame. The way you kill people isn't even remotely imaginative or funny

To the person being killed the most prevalent trauma is death. Dying is not any less traumatic when you're being shot or poisoned, than being decapitated.
I don't know about you, but I'd much rather be shot in the head (instant death) than slashed and tortured until dead.

I didn't assume it, I suspected it. Honestly, I am curious as to why anyone would derive pleasure from this sort of thing. My question was in no way intended to be "loaded", but if you think it is, well, that's pretty sad.
