trying to frighten people with zombie flicks and games, you need the visual support.
The only genuinely scary game I've played is the "haunted house" level at the start of Vampire the Masqurade: Bloodlines. Even playing through it subsequent times, when you know for a fact, there is no way you can die, it's still totally scary - and the graphics in that is way dated. I wouldn't discount excellent story telling and gameplay so quickly. Zombie MMORPG
