Visual Basic is an atrocity! C# (the language, not the .Net framework) is a lean, mostly consistent and semi-compact language. C# is much easier to learn and use then Visual Basic.
This is true. Visual Basic, to me, has the learning curve of a 98 degree wall. The syntax and language features are a mess of trying to resemble old BASIC while implementing new features, and it just doesn't work as far as I'm concerned. BlitzMax is a good example of how BASIC languages have evolved I think, but then that's not saying much because what I think is about as welcome as a gas leak.
In ze bible. The idea that programming language x is "more powerful" than programming language y is absurd. Not only is powerful a subjective and abstract term in the context of programming languages (because it depends on the context), but it is entirely unmeasurable.
That was more or less my point, except in less words because I felt it was more biting to just demand proof. I've asked for proof of god and later that night I found a bible in my pillow case. A bible in a pillow case behind three locked doors and in my personal space. I desperately want to know what the person who did it was thinking, but I suspect it's along the same lines of what LilMain is thinking.
