Thing is, if your carrier says its fine, and each airport you change at says its fine, then it probably fine.
I know you cannot travel with them in Europe in Hand luggage. And for definate you would be stopped from simply entering the UK with them. But dont know about hold luggage in either Germany or croatia. I "Think" you would need an import visa for Germany.
