What's that got to do with it? There are plenty of people with energy and determination that are undeserving of respect. What I want to know is what he did to piss people off like that. Kind of like the slightly retarded cousin who keeps on dancing when everyone else has left the dancefloor.
I think that's a rather poor analogy (in terms of accuracy and taste). Personally I don't see what the big deal is. He has a reputation which is not too dissimilar to "halo" (ie a people openly state they don't like him), yet he never really posts enough for people to judge him.

No. What you meant to say is that best is highly subjective. If the metric you're using is most games is quantitatively, that is who's shipped most games in the shortest amount of time, then yes he and GFK are pretty much it. If it's who writes the best games, that's pretty much a toss up between John Pickford, Michael Rietzenstein and Anthony Flack. Best programmers are probably fredborg or Brucey.
