@jfk EO-11110, the protector does not patch the .exe other than to apply validation\integrity protection and filesize integrity protection. the main protection is found within the blitzmax module.

I get "Validated and Proceeding Normally".
I then get "File Monitor Found on your System"
Then it exits.
Is it possable a file monitor has been run and you have not rebooted. under winxp regmon and filemon dont cleanup when they are shutdown. a complete reboot is required to clean them from memory.
if this not the case. what version of windows are you running?
IMHO the worst possible thing a protection system can do is stop a legitmate user from from using the program as that will lose the company not just my business but also other people will be put off. Again IMHO, I should not have to (and won't) uninstall Visual Studio or any "Standard" Utility programs to play ANYONE's game and any system that trys to force the user to do so IMHO is doomed to failure.
it should function correcly, i have visual c++ 2003 .net installed plus other utils for a wide range of stuff, nothing would need to be uninstalled. this is not the way the protector is used.
