Contrary to what the Communist above claims, you can still make money by coming up with an idea and applying a lot of hard work. Being an entrepreneur can be tough, because you don't know if you are doing things right or not, and you have to be creative and willing to learn. For example, I tried advertising with Google, and got nothing but Spam bots and lost $800...and sales went down. Then I tried with GameDev, and sales were much better. You have to adjust.
At the same time, there are plenty of sleazy businesses out there that produce nothing useful. It's not like business itself is either good or bad. It depends on what kind of people are involved. In the US, there seems to be a lot of parasites, but this is also home to a lot of good businesses.
It's funny how the same people who say you should not hurt someone if they invade your home are so militant about the government protecting their internet connection.
