Guys,

I always find the suggestion of .Net being some sort of 'evil' install due to it's 'massive' download (I guess it is large for dialups) and because of that you shouldn't install as kind of odd. If you have come from something like VB6 like I have, the .Net framework is fantastic as it includes most of the functionality you require to code just about anything. No more installing 10 different libraries and hoping. You can also copy/move the entire product folder and the program will still work.

2.0 and above works great - my IDE has no speed issues plus it's a pleasure to code. Vista comes with 3.0 already installed and didn't WinXPSP2 include it?? So what are you waiting for! I guess I'm bias, but .Net is really coming into it's own as an application creation tool.

Also thanks for the support from you guys in regards to my IDE - I do personally think it will be the best available and in my eyes the reason for this is .Net.
