I did download and try your demo. A few things came to mind;
Firstly, the story is absolutely bonkers - but that's not necessarily a bad thing ;-) There was some problems with presentation however - mostly text extending beyond the edges of the box and spelling and grammatical errors.
In terms of play, I think you need to give people a bit more of a lead-in. The first thing I noticed, was the high speed of your character - fine for traveling long distances, but irksome when you're trying to manuever to get into a doorway or meet someone. Perhaps standard speed should be 1/3 as fast and hold down the shift key for super-duper speed?
Also my first inclination was to rush up to someone and start clicking in the hope of starting a conversation. Instead I begun jumping up and down or attacking them. A few on-screen help pop-ups would have really eased me into things here.
I have to ask - did you do a beta test? Beta tests can be really frustrating - in that your baby will be thoroughly crticised - but you will discover how the average user reacts before you release to the public (who can be even harsher), and so you can avoid those pitfalls.
