Mine was an Acorn Electron. I can't believe the amount of time I lost playing Elite.
I used to play to Elite rating and then start again from harmless. Total madness, especially as there were no missions in this version, the most powerful weapon you could get was a Beam laser, no witchspace and no Thargoids.
