I agree GFK, but I at least dont "Push" the envelope, and so even if the languge is twice as fast in execution, then it isnt as important to me, cos that means it will only run an a PII800 rather than a PII400.
If you are trying to write something at that end of the spectrum that needs all the new cutting edge tech, then fair enough. However thats not normaly the case in the indie market, were normaly "Original" or "memorable" is more important than "Flash". And in a one person Dev team speed of DEV is a lot more important than Speed of exercution.
I believe youve published in the order of Twenty progams (May be wrong, please subsitute correct number), which would be better for you, that you had made 10 that ran on a halfspeced computer, or the twenty you have done?
