According to reviews I read it does support 480p......do you have the Wii setup to display 480p by default?
Yeah, because of the fact that every review did stated it was suppose to be in 480p, it was the very first thing I checked for when loading up RE4 Wii. I do have my Wii setup for 480p and you can easily tell right away when a Wii or GameCube game is running in 480p or not (sharper, cleaner visuals, complete full wide screen display) and RE4 Wii definately was not.
While the game was in full screen, as oppose to the letterbox version of the GameCube, the screen does not complete fill (on the sides) and the texts and visuals were not as sharp as 480p games are. The uncomplete filling of the screen only occurs when you play non-480p games with the component cables. You would notice this also with other Wii games that don't support 480p like Trauma Center and Red Steel. Wonder whats up with that....or is that all these reviewers can't tell the difference between regular view and 480p? Or its just me? :p
Is this worth the upgrade from the GameCube version of RE4?
If you really enjoyed the first time, then I would say yeah.
