Are there new unlocks or is it still the same old stuff (e.g., Typewriter, Unlimited RL, Magnum, extra modes)?
From my understanding, its got all the PS2 version unlocks. Unless you only played the GC version (like me), the only major difference between the Wii and the PS2 is the better graphics and new control scheme. Of course i do hear rumours of other unlocks and extras that they may have packed in. Heh, and if anyone is interested, theres even a new trailer of Umbrella Chronicles in it also. Not that its a big deal considering that its comming out in August anways...
Been thinking about getting this one but I'm not sure yet. Is it fun as in "I'm not a RE fanatic but I really enjoy this game anyway"?
Its more like, you will become an RE fanatic after playing this game. RE4 is a totally different style of gameplay than the other Resident Evil games. More of an action 3rd person shooter rather than adventure. Matter of fact, Gears of War even got the over-the-shoulder view concept from RE4. So yah, its that good. :)
