Need advice about Macs

I`m thinking of buying a MacBook but would just like to confirm before I do whether or not I will be able to use Blitz 3D on it.

I have been told that I can run PC software but I want to know just how effective this aspect of Macs is. Are we talking full speed with 3D also?

Are there any other things that I need to know before parting with my hard earned cash?

Any help would be most welcome.
