I've developed a bit of sniffage.
Whilst Googling about on the Striker Extreme mobo - I came across a lot of problems with memory. I remember that CyberPower had problems with memory for my original system.
Anyway, the memory I have chosen isn't compatable with the mobo - hence the sniffage.
I'm hoping that it may not be as bad as I think - I've requested expert advice over at Tom's: http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/selected-wrong-Striker-Extreme-ftopict234307.html
I'm hoping that someone will just confirm that the RAM will run crippled - ie not a full 1066MHz speed and that there is nothing to worry about. However, there are a lot of horror stories about RAM frying itself in the Striker Extreme 3-4 weeks later.
