Was this recently, I think they may have changed the system. It always seems to know exactly what the pc has when we have been using it. You can even look up the make and model of harddisk (using the part numbers)
Well, I ran into it two weeks ago, but the machine itself was probably ~2 years old at that point, so they may be better now. :-?
