One thing that really makes me chuckle about these discussions (that includes the windows VS XXXX ones) is how many people have actually BOUGHT the software in question.
How many would really walk into pc world and pay 100s of $ for a program which can do little more than the free alternatives. I mean, ok, if you have then fine, but how many here are using pirates or 'oem excess' copys from their companies etc..
Those that say, well.. it came 'free' with my pc, all i can say is erm... no, it didnt.
It would be interesting to see how many private individuals would be using it otherwise :)
