No it wouldnt, it would make things look just like they do now. There would only be one "Lane" from any point to the Sun. If the Earth was flat, this one lane is curved, and if the Earth was a Globe, this Lane is Straight. Its no more stupid than Evolutionists Vrs Creationists, and a lot less contravertial.
