This force is detectable by you, just go and look at the horizon, see the way you cannot see things more than about 25 miles away.
Thats already explainable without making up forces. That the effect of this force pushing the light away.
I see no such effect of light being pushed away. I do however see the effect of the atmosphere distorting the light. No. Your problem is that you are taking something as the most likly to be proven.
I'm taking the best explanation that fits the facts over some claim that you obviously haven't thoughtout. And just assume that I must be wrong in my assertion that it is unproven.
