Yavin, SculptureOfSoul: I'll be totally honest with you... No I'm not getting any commission, I just know that some people will appreciate hearing about a decent free game. However, if people click on the ads on the site I'll make a few pence, and if they buy any games via links on the site I'll get a small affiliate commission. Also I linked to the Binary Joy site where I wrote the original post a) so that a few more people hear about Binary Joy and hopefully visit again and b)I don't want to duplicate the post again.
There you go, my motivations laid bare - they are partially selfish, and partially not because I'm giving "value" to other which is a) a free game, and b) a link to an interesting site worth visiting again.
