I'm not shocked because here in the UK we get charged more for everything. It's common knowledge.
Even Microsoft charge more for Vista in the UK than they do anywhere else.
Don't get me started on the scam Adobe are running with their products. Basically we in the UK pay double what a person in the US would pay for Photoshop and other Adobe products.
