Before I bother with it. I've used some other 'like' programs. Does this suffer from very laggy and jittery response times? Since there is no way to go in and tweak the code, you can't really fine-tune gameplay, so it I would rather it be 'too fast' and have some kind of wait command, than be too slow and hard to control.
If it is capable of being smooth, and can handle larger projects. I'll give it a go.

It works well. It's internally frame rate limited, I believe. It also has an option to run at a constant speed independent of the end users computer specs. In this case it just drops frames if necessary. But it runs decent on any semi-modern machine. Of course, if you coded the same thing in C++ it would be a lot faster but would also take exponentially more time.
As far as larger projects? Well, it can be used for casual games (Cactus Bruce was made in the original MMF I believe. MMF 2 has hardware alpha + rotation, so a lot more eye candy is possible.) Other games that have been made with it are "I'm Ok" (http://67.15.42.30/ImOK/). Be warned, that game is...disturbing.
A game that you should definitely check out (and I should as well, for some reason I've never gotten around to playing it, but it's hailed as one of the best games to be made with MMF (actually, I think it was made with Click and Create but..)) is Eternal Daughter, a side scroller rpg.

It's a great program as long as you aren't trying to make a really advanced and/or huge game in it. You could, with some serious effort, make something equal to FF6 or so, I'd say.
