I have 36 icons on my desktop and I'm proud to say not a single superfluous one.
Yeah I had tons of non-superfluous icons yesterday (no rubbish/junk etc) then I realised I could "hide" them in subfolders if I only used them a few times a week and so I left out only "the use every" day icons. Tidied up my Desktop - time you did yours?
