There are a lot of good games based on the match-3 concept. Hell.. match-3 is based on tic-tac-toe.
When I say 'bejewled clone' I litterally mean a clone. Not like Grey's games which take the gameplay in a new direction.
I mean. Big wall of 'things' which when you swap them they make matches of 3, disappear, and then the ones on top fall into place. End.
Or MIGHT have some minor tweaks.. Like more or less items, or simple powerups. But not a complete change in gameplay direction like Grey's games.
