Grey, what's wrong with the article? Is it because he doesn't have a game on a portal atm?
No, just some stuff like this:

"But remember, it isn't the box that sells the game."

"Paying $10 for a basic 'bejewled' clone is not a bargin." (depends who you are)

"Want to make a platformer? Make it fantasy themed and you'll find a lot more people are willing to buy it."

"Most people don't like demos."

"Obviously, graphics are the only way to make some 'bejewled' clone stand out."

"It seems like the indie games that get finished are all clones, bad ideas, or otherwise lame"

"But the big bucks aren't on the portals." (... this one is hilarious.)

"The game doesn't have to look good to be fun, so don't focus on that" (again, depends on who is buying.)

"It could mean burning discs and handing them out on the street near a game store."

Sorry, I'm not going into why - it would take too long. Like I said it's just my opinion so you know think what you like :-) It's good that DampeS8N is thinking about stuff and writing and I don't want to discourage him.
