Thanks guys, I think my first stop is definitely the logo & menu. Not sure where the brown came from i guess i just 'followed through :D' from the image itself.
Strangely enough, before i shrank and changed reduced its colors it looked good, now it looks shyte :/

Ill look into how to get a good dynamic size system on the go, but the problem is its hard to predict how it will look on all systems ie. i dont want entire paragraphs stretched into one line.
Has the oldskool idea of designing to an 780 width been overtaken by 1004 these days?
