"OpenOffice is probably one of the only choices for Linux"
Isnt MSoffice & corel the only compareable choices for windows? (there was lotus but it got stamped on) and theres OpenOffice for windows of course.
there are loads of individual apps on LX, BSD etc. for individual tasks:
abiword & other wordprocessors, several spreadsheets, scribus dtp etc (to mention just a few)
but is the only decent 'suite' i guess. Although saying that, hasnt MS office been tested to run in the emulator wine (not that theres a whole lot of point as OO does most of it anyway)?
