Its not as 'good' as 2007 but...
Openoffice has most stuff that 'humans' use, wordprocessing, spreadsheet, dbase, pp style presenter, macros, templates, speller, thesaurus, clip/wordart, all installed OS fonts. People tend to think most of it is missing because it is simply in a different place. Also it can read/write XP.Doc/.xls/.ppt format as well as make PDF and a load of others.
(while not 2007 however, in relation to 97-2003 i would say probably as good)
Works 4 me.
@gosse, yes you can.
Ps: As far as it running on vista ok, it is down to wether gtk runs on it. Because so many apps rely on it i can imagine it will, or if not, an update is on its way.
