I have a little number-crunching program. It works fine.
Looking back, I noticed that I had used the Graphics command in the beginning because the overall program had changed in development, but since it no longer needed the Graphics command, I took it out. It now functions considerably faster, for obvious reasons.
Just out of curiosity, I tried re-adding the Graphics command, and then following it immediately with an EndGraphics command. The program isn't in a Graphics state, but now it goes back to it's slow, graphics speed.
What gives?
