I really don't think the consumer gives a stuff about "gloss" and "polish". The only reasons I can see that any of these match-3 games need such "polish" is because the market is totally over-staturated with them and they lack any form of interesting game-play/game-mechanic. You can cover a turd with the best icing sugar (and sparkly sprinkles) known to man and I still ain't gonna eat it!
