The photo you took shows and says it all Puki, refund time.
They had the nerve to allow that though QC too - awesome scary, would never have happened on my watch when I ran a QC Dept. P45 time for that one, no qubbling.
Of course it's screwed; could even represent a fire hazard depending on how hot that pipe gets, and you got something way hot on the end of that thing. How many amps can that CPU draw? Holy Mother they really like a risk don't they? A moment's thought will reveal that to remove that will require that the "pro wiring" is "pro unwired" again, then a new PSU thrown in and "pro wired" yet again! This, because all the wires are connected to the PSU as you already spotted & pointed out! ;O)
I'm surprised the guy expressed the need to see it in the flesh when it's plain enough from the photo. And my eyesight could be better so it's really very plain indeed as to what the problem is.
Really shabby build in my view, I mean powering the system is a kind of basic requirement really, even in this century.
You, your cash, and your custom deserve far better consideration than this.
These guys are quite clearly not behaving like pros, cons perhaps.
