My new DX10 system has ARRIVED!!!

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/My new DX10 system has ARRIVED!!!

Well, I eventually got it to boot yesterday and was playing games for hours.

I wouldn't risk poking about too much as per what "skid" posted - I did find that sort of stuff on the internet but won't risk it until I email CyberPower and see what they want to try.

The GPU is certainly in the upper slot, closest to CPU.

One of my problems is I cannot get to the BIOS, the PC simply won't boot - motherboard gets power but will not boot even as far as powering the monitor on. The HD light does briefly come on as though it is attempting something.

However, I have got it to boot to Windows on 4 occasions so it definetly can do so and has been in Windows for about 5 hours last night.

Certainly something is not right but it is odd that it was able to (eventually) work fully last night for several hours (without me prodding inside the case).

I knew I should have gone back to Mesh computers for my new PC, but I just had to be drawn in by CyberPower's massive array of options to configure a system - Like a sausage to the slaughter.
