Blu-Ray has a stupid name. HD-DVD will win out based on this alone. I'm serious.
Totally a agree with you.
Ask someone who hasn't been following this "war" which one they'll buy into and they'll go for HD-DVD 'cos it's obviously the "next DVD, and will play my existing DVDs" and they've got no idea what this "Blue Ray" is (comments I've heard include "are the discs blue? that'd be cool!" and "is it just for porn, or can it play normal films too?").
Personally I'll buy neither 'til I can actually afford an HD TV, which'll be a while...
