Are you referring to Holiday Bonus or Boner Bonus ;-) one is real, and one isn't... All your games have the same flavor. :S
except I improve each one in a variety of ways. Also I hope the flavour is GOOD :-) The select level of holiday bonus remembers me the AOTMG. I can feel the same visual-fx and sound.
I reused the idea because it was cool, and everyone seems to agree. Yep, AOTMG zoomed in, but this one has a background that pans and zooms in parallax! Also the sound is a brand new sound. If you can sell the same game again and again and again... you're lucky.
I'm full time so I treat making games as a business, not a hobby (otherwise I'd make shooters and never finish anything).I had a business plan and it went like this "See what types of games sell well. Find a genre I like and can code relatively easily (no professional game is "easy"). Analyse, duplicate and improve that genre. If it is received well, repeat, adding variation and improvement each time until I get bored or customers/portals stop buying"
I think this approach has worked well. I'd love to make some different games soon and we'll see what happens.
