Where do you draw your inspiration from to generate a new concept or idea. Real life, e.g. News, History, Science what happens in your life or Fiction, e.g. Films, Games, Art, Novels ect.
Personally I find fiction more inspirational, e.g. the new Bond Movie I found very gritty and much more 'realistinc' than previous 007 outings. So should the question is could I recreate the feel/mechanics of the action in a 2d platformer/poker game?
