In fact I would probably prefer a port to SPARC/Solaris before ARM/PocketPC/Linux, and since participants in the SUN Partner Program can get (or at least could when I was down there) a 9000NZD SUN computer in exchange for porting their Windows/Linux applications to Solaris, it seems to be the more cost effective solution, for the purpose playing with compilers.
