I got a Wii...and it's...

I found out that in Zelda you can go to the + button screen and set up the pointer in a number of ways. It has you set the size of the sensor bar relative to the screen, and you can set an offset for the pointer to account for the location of the sensor bar so you can hold the controller the way you expect and have the crosshairs in the center of the screen.

The control is a little less touchy now, but it's still not super responsive. What I mean is, if you snap the controller to the side, it takes a moment to go there and then it corrects it's position after it stops for a moment. I suppose this behavior could simply be controlled by the game and the menu system... The config screen after all is within Zelda itself, not the Wii control panel. So I dunno. As I said, the system is fun. And the Wii controller is 1000x better than the crappy Powerglove was, being that it is actually usable. But it's not the amazing controller that knows its exact position and rotation in space instantly as I'd initially hoped it would be and only learned it was not in the past month or two.

Still better than playng the same old crap on the playstation or xbox though.
