First experience with Wii

It's accurate enough. It does know the difference between a little tilt and a lot of tilt. As for how much difference there is, as far as I could tell it felt analog.

It's a bit confusing at first, cause you pick up the controller and then start trying to steer using the D-pad which is right there under your thumb for initiating boosts, but once you get the hang of it, if you don't try boosting a lot you'll be sailing easily around the tracks. If you do boost you'll probably end up in the woods a lot until you practice with the game more. But this has nothing to do with how well the steering works. It's just a matter of going too fast to turn and flying in the air and not being able to turn as sharp. (There is some air-steering like in many platform games. Totally unrealistic, but the game isn't intended to be.)

I'm fairly sure the system can handle sensitive controls for driving. All I'm worried about is whether or not driving in this way will feel solid or not. It does not feel very solid in Excite Truck, but it's still pretty fun and a different experience. I won't be buying Exctire Truck myself, but I could see some other racing games that will be avilable for it being good. I need to look at some more reviews.
