not all girls are like that though (my gf loves games and is learning to code <3). but yes, everyone at my school was like that too, and school was pretty much a waste of time. but once you leave school you find most people grow up pretty quick and noone cares about that sarcastic crap anymore...i reckon.

so follow whatever path seems good to you, learn and have fun. you're bound to meet likeminded people on the way. and yeah, blitzmax rocks :D
