I hope you get the proposal through. It would be nice to have something like a BMax crosscompiler for the GamePark GP2X to tinker with on cold and wet Sunday afternoons.
I have no experience with these little "gadgets" but tinkering with them sounds very much fun.
On the more commercial side of things, the GamePark unit sold >30.00 units in Europe (the DS 87.000 in 2 days...) ( Joystiq).
