somehow I find it more likely that they put a sticker over the corner of their screen so they won't have to look at the "critical updates available!" popup all the time.
Ignorance is bliss. But the bottom line: There are literally *millions* of people out there who aren't going to be updating any time soon. If anything, their computers will slowly slow up due to spyware, to be replaced by 'new' computers that will be running great for a couple of months, until they too are vulnerable to the latest batch of exploit. Rinse & repeat.
