Wicked, thanks guys. One thing - my cable box doesn't have the same IR standards as the rest of my remotes. I recently got a universal remote from Kameleon and it won't learn the cable box functions. I contacted them and they said:
Would this be a problem for the media centre to change the channels too?
Unfortunately the Explorer4000DVB uses an IRDA remote that currently cannot be operated with a universal remote.This device does not support a normal IR protocol but IRDA one. Unfortunately we do not have a code available for this device and, if your One for All universal remote is a learnable one, the remote does not have the capability to learn such frequency.
Would this be a problem for the media centre to change the channels too?
