MAke sure you find out what the native Resolution is. If for example you are looking at 19 native 1028By 768 or 17 native 1280 by 1024, then I would be tempted to go for the 17. (unless you have vey bad eyesight)
Haveing said that, the best monitor Ive ever used was a 32" one that had at the local Libary for partialy sighted ppl. It did make things look "specturmie" though
