Sell a kidney and get a Dell 2407FPW. It is the best monitor you can buy.
Their 30" isn't as good because of slower response time and complete lack of connectivity (other than DVI). The 2407 has got:
S-Video, Composite video, DVI (HDCP compliant), VGA and component video.
Awesome piece of kit.
I've got the older 2405, but every day using it is a joy :)
