AND any customer can ask for a discount... You don't get one if you don't ask!!!
This is absolutely true, but you didn't ask them for a discount. You "sounded off" and encouraged comments. You got them, and only one or two were vaguely flame-like. You're absolutely entitled to email BRL privately and attempt to negotiate a lower price. I have no idea what the response will be.

Not at all, I like to negotiate if I think I can get a better deal. I didn't believe I could negotiate for a better deal with any of my Blitz-related purchases, so I didn't waste anyone's time trying. However, when I do negotiate, I do so privately. I don't sound off in public on the sole point of sale of the person I'm trying to negotiate with in an attempt to get people on-side with me, because I believe it's entirely counter-productive to the negotiation to annoy them before I even get in touch.
